Tom Downey demonstrates how Partek® GS can be used to process and analyze ChIP-on-chip
regulation studies based on the new Affymetrix® Tiling Arrays. Statistical and visual analysis
methods will be used to process data and identify regions of protein/DNA interaction. The
results will be inspected using interactive visualization, exported to tabular format. Lists of
genes, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and sequences will be exported for
downstream analysis and correlation to results from other studies, such as gene expression
experiments. Because Partek GS has been highly optimized for speed and memory efficiency,
high-density tiling studies can be processed and analyzed on today’s desktop and laptop
computers.
