The following package includes the GCOS Service Pack 2 software which updates GCOS client 1.3 and 1.4 workstations with a custom grid patch. This patch includes:

• Components necessary to successfully grid image data (*.dat) and produce cell intensity data (*.cel) for the Genome-Wide Human SNP Array 5.0 and specific custom divide-by designs.
  
  
• This patch is applied to GCOS client systems only. It should not be installed on a GCOS server.
  
  
• This patch only affects arrays it was specifically designed for and is safe for systems running arrays outside of its scope.

Instructions for installing the update

• The ReadMe.txt file included in the download zip file contains detailed instructions for applying this update.
