Sample Data for GeneChip® Arrays

The following files contain compressed versions of .DTT Archive files that can be imported into GeneChip Operating Software (GCOS) using Data Transfer Tool (DTT) version 1.1 or higher.

Please note: Sample data is no longer provided in individual files or in .CAB file format, and is thus not compatible with Microarray Suite (MAS) or with versions of GCOS that do not have DTT version 1.1 or higher installed.

In order to import the sample data into GCOS, the appropriate library files for the probe array type must first be installed.

A .zip file extractor utility (for example, WinZip) is required for accessing the contents of these files. If your workstation does not have this type of software program installed, or if you are unfamiliar with the process of “unzipping” files, please consult with your Information Technology (IT) or Computer Support department.

Data contained on this page is stored in a ZIP file containing either a DTT archive or a collection of EXP, CEL, & CHP files. Collections of EXP, CEL, & CHP files cannot be imported into GCOS and are provided for use in software applications handling flat files as data inputs

After downloading a sample data .zip file, unzip the file to access the .DTT Archive file. Then, import the data using DTT version 1.1 or higher, selecting the .DTT Archive option. For more information on importing data into GCOS from a .DTT Archive file, please refer to the Affymetrix Data Transfer Tool User's Guide.

Please note: These files are very large.
