The Affymetrix GeneChip® Genotyping Analysis Software (GTYPE) 4.1 is part of the GeneChip Mapping Array System, specifically designed to give highly accurate, automated SNP allele calls for the GeneChip Mapping Arrays. It was developed to enable workflows for a variety of SNP mapping applications and help streamline data analysis for projects with thousands of samples. GTYPE 4.1 includes a new genotyping algorithm, BRLMM, which offers quality scores for each genotyping call.
