The gamma parameters default for this array was set to deliver specificity consistent with our other expression products. (The changes in the default gamma values apply to 11- micron arrays.) These parameters are user definable. The Technical Note "Fine Tuning Your Data Analysis" available on our web site www.affymetrix.com/support/technical/technotesmain.affx describes how changing the gamma values will allow the user to tune the balance between specificity and sensitivity. |
