Why were the default gamma values changed for Mouse 430 2.0 Arrays?
The gamma parameters defaults for these arrays were set to deliver specificity consistent with our other expression products. (The changes in the default gamma values apply to 11 micron arrays.) These parameters are user definable. The Technical Note "Fine Tuning Your Data Analysis" describes how changing the gamma values will allow the user to tune the balance between specificity and sensitivity.
