Why were the default gamma values changed for HG-U133A 2.0 and HG-U133 Plus 2.0 Arrays?
The gamma parameters defaults for these arrays were set to deliver specificity consistent with our other expression products. These parameters are user definable. The Technical Note "Fine Tuning Your Data Analysis" available on our web site describes how changing the gamma values will allow the user to tune the balance between specificity and sensitivity.
