How does the quality score compare to Phred/ Phrap scores?
The two scoring systems are derived from very different types of data making direct conversion difficult. However, data obtained using a quality score of 30 has been shown to be ~99.998% accurate, which is comparable to capillary sequencing with a quality score of ~50.
