Can Command Console coexist with GCOS on the same workstation?
Yes, GCOS and Command Console software can be installed on the same computer workstation. GCOS is not removed or updated during the installation of Command Console software. However, GCOS and Command Console software cannot control the same instruments at the same time. When both Command Console and GCOS are installed on the same workstation, users can switch between the two software packages by closing one and opening the other.
