index | previous question | next question

Do users have to install the Command Console software on computers that will run downstream analysis on Command Console data?

No. Command Console is file based and data files are accessed directly through the file system. Data is simply transferred or copied as required. If users wish to edit sample and array attributes, view or adjust image grids, generate CEL files or use the data search capabilities, they will need to install Command Console software.
