GeneChip® Command Console (AGCC)
Are the data formats different between GCOS and Command Console?
All files produced from Command Console use new file formats and are not directly compatible with either GCOS or academic analysis packages that accept only GCOS CEL files. All GeneChip-compatible software packages support both GCOS and Command Console file formats. Data Exchange Console (DEC) is used to convert between the formats. Extensive testing has been performed to ensure full data preservation during conversion. (Note: some Command Console CHP files can not be converted to GCOS format because they contain additional data that does not fit in the GCOS CHP file format.)
