Does this method also work with RNA isolated from whole blood from animal samples?
The PNA sequences used for Globin depletion are specific to human globin sequences and are not expected to match orthologous sequences in other organisms. As such, the procedure is not expected to work for blood samples derived from other organisms besides human.
