How does the protocol affect the GeneChip®Array analysis?
The procedure selectively reduces the amount of globin cRNA transcripts. As a result, cross-hybridization of excess globin cRNA transcripts leading to inaccurate array data analyses is reduced. Therefore, expression analysis using the globin reduction protocol leads to more sensitive, reproducible and accurate array results.
