Yes, you should expect similar metrics with the new kit as with the previous kit. The B-actin and GAPDH 3'/5' ratios may be slightly elevated when labeling with the new kit, but are still well within our suggested guidance. In particular the B-actin 3'/5' ratio is likely to be significantly higher at lower input amounts. The values are closer to what one might expect when using the 2-cycle kit. The high B-actin 3'/5' ratio does not indicate a decrease in overall performance since the increase in ratio is not a general phenomenon, but rather seems to be specific to B-actin.
