Below is a description of the changes to the versions of the GDAC Exporter SDK and the Expression Exporter tool.

Version 3.0 Updates

  • Added support for the new file formats generated by the GCOS 1.2 software.
  • Added AuthorityName to both IGDACExportFiles and IGDACExportLIMS interfaces.
  • Modified identifiers based on recommendations from the December 2003 MAGE Jamboree.
  • Added the fluidics protocol name to the protocol parameters identifiers.
  • Added unused probes to a second CompositeGroup entry.
  • Changed reference to feature coordinates to FeatureLocation element with row/col attributes.

Version 2.0 Updates

  • Added support for the GCOS 1.0 file security feature. The Exporter SDK will be able to read the data files managed by the GCOS 1.0 when the file security feature is enabled.
  • Fixed error in the Java SDK when called from a non user interface Java program.
  • Modified ':BaselineFile', ':ScalingFactor' and ':NormalizationFactor' identifiers to ':BF', ':SF' and ':NF' respectively.
  • Corrected LowerLeftX and LowerLeftY parameters in the Affymetrix:Protocol:Percentile section. The X and Y indicators were missing.
  • Added the array type to the "Affymetrix:ReporterGroup:All" and "Affymetrix:CompositeGroup" tags.
  • The startCoord position for probes in a CDF exported file are 0.
  • Correct spelling of Outlier. There were some places were it was spelled as "Outiler"
  • This version of the SDK is compatible with MAS 5, LIMS 3 and GCOS 1. There are no interface changes so your applications do not need to be rebuilt. You will only need to install the new runtime libraries.
  • The MAGE-ML files produced currently do not contain the DTD version number. Version 1.0 should be assumed.
