アフィメトリクスGeneChip® Human（パネル1&2）20K cSNP Kitは、単一アッセイでマルチプレックス処理された20,000のアミノ酸を変化させるSNPを検出する機能を持っています。  これには、10,000以上の遺伝子における機能的変化をコーディングする、検証済みのノンシノニマス(機能的変化を伴う)公開SNPが含まれています。 これにより、生物学的パスウェイと遺伝子機能にリンクしたノンシノニマス(機能的変化を伴う)SNPの直接検出で、仮説によるアソシエーション研究の実行が可能となります。Human（パネル1&2）20K cSNP Kitデータは、実証された分子反転プローブ（MIP）テクノロジーとアフィメトリクスのUniversal Tag Arrayを組み合わせて作製され、GeneChip® Scanner 3000 TG Systemでスキャンされます。
