GeneChip® Poplar genome Arrayは、ポプラ（Populus sp.）の遺伝子発現を調べるために特別にデザインされたアレイです。本アレイには、56,000個以上の転写産物と予測される遺伝子に対する、計61,000個以上のプローブセットが含まれています。

GeneChip® Poplar Genome Arrayは、アフィメトリクス社のGeneChip® Consortia Programの一環として、著名なポプラ研究者との共同研究により作製され、UniGene Build #6 （2005年3月16日）とすべてのPopulus属の種に関するGenBank® のmRNAおよびEST（2005年4月26日まで）のデータを基にデザインされています。さらに、米エネルギー省（U.S. Department of Energy）が主導し、カリフォルニア州Walnut Creek のJoinｔ Genome Institute（JGI）を拠点とするポプラゲノムプロジェクト（P.trichocarpa）の予測遺伝子セットv1.1からのアレイデザインデータも利用されています（ダウンロード日：2005年5月4日）
