CytoScan HD Solutionは最大のカバー率、最高の性能、そしてほとんどの「ジェノタイピング可能な」一塩基多型（SNP）を備え、constitutional cytogenetics, cancer cytogenetics, OMIM およびRefSeq と関係する遺伝子に関連するヒト染色体異常を検出できるようになっています。この1枚のアレイには260万を超えるコピー数マーカーが搭載され、そのうち約75万個は「ジェノタイピング可能な」SNPで、約１９０万個は非多型プローブです。
最適化された試薬キット：合理的なワークフロー
CytoScan HD Solutionは、時間と経費を節約し、操作ミスを減らし、細胞遺伝学コミュニティのガイドラインを上回る性能を提供できるようにデザインされています。単純化され合理化されたアッセイプロトコールは研究室のワークフローの要件に沿っていますので、一貫性があり質の高い結果を容易に得ることができます。この試薬キットには、磁気ビーズも含めアレイに必要なあらゆる試薬が入っています（ただし、エタノールとClontech TITANIUM® DNA Amplification Kit, P/N 639243 は含まれておりません）*。それぞれの試薬はアフィメトリクスによる厳しい品質管理検査を通っており、CytoScan HD Arrayと合わせた最高の再現性と性能が保証されています。CytoScanTMプロトコールは2.5日以内に完了することができ、その作業は7時間程度です。

CytoScan HD Arrayには、75万個のgene-centric SNPが搭載されていますので、正確な切断点の推定、高解像度のヘテロ接合性消失（LOH）決定、片親性イソダイソミー（UPD）および同祖的領域の検出、さらには低レベルのモザイク現象の可視化、および不均一性の測定も可能です。
