		幹細胞解析

		GeneChip®マイクロアレイを利用すれば、幹細胞ゲノムをさまざまな角度から研究することで、細胞分化を詳しく調べ、この有望な細胞を疾病治療に利用する方法を決定すること可能となります。全ゲノム発現、染色体コピー数と塩基配列解析の研究により、以下の方法で幹細胞生物学の複雑さが解明されつつあります。幹細胞の分化と多分化能を制御する分子パスウェイの同定遺伝子発現シグネチャーを使った幹細胞分化の実行比較発現研究と遺伝子型研究による細胞集団間および集団細胞内の遺伝的多様性の発見ジョンズ・ホプキンズ医科大学と国立衛生研究所（NIH）の科学者らが率いる研究チームは、アフィメトリクスGeneChip®マイクロアレイ（Mapping 100K SetとHuman Mitochondrial Resequencing Array 2.0）を利用して、連邦政府資金による研究の許可を受けた8つの幹細胞系が突然変異を起こしたことを発見し、今後の研究や治療における残り14の許可済み細胞系の使用に対する注意を促しました。この研究結果は、Nature Geneticsオンライン版9月4日号に掲載されています。
