Affymetrix will continue to supply the HT One-Cycle cDNA Synthesis Kit for a period of one year to allow completion of current projects. Current HT One-Cycle cDNA Synthesis Kits will be available until December 2009.

The GeneChip® HT One-Cycle cDNA Synthesis Kit (Manufactured by Invitrogen for Affymetrix) is uniquely configured and tested for GeneChip target labeling using the GeneChip® Array Station. It provides all necessary reagents in one convenient kit for synthesis of double-stranded cDNA containing the T7 promoter sequence from total RNA.

The resultant cDNA is then purified and serves as a template in the subsequent in vitro transcription (IVT) reaction for complementary RNA (cRNA) amplification and biotin labeling to hybridize to GeneChip® brand arrays.

As part of the completely integrated GeneChip reagent product line for expression analysis using the GeneChip Array Station, the GeneChip HT One-Cycle cDNA Synthesis Kit offers:

  • Streamlined workflow and 96-reaction packaging, well suited for large-scale studies using the GeneChip Array Station
  • Optimal results based on a proven, robust protocol
